When international travel proved impossible during the pandemic, Han Feng started to create journeys on an antique wooden Chinese table in her home in New York, with fruits and vegetables and objects new and old she has collected over the years from all around the world. The often precariously balanced still life assemblages form the on-going photography series, The Gift, which brings together her love for ceramics and cuisine, and shows her determination to find fun, surprise, joy and beauty from the everyday and from things around us.
