Francie Lyshak / David Colbert Artist Reception

Join us on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 3-6 pm for an opening reception featuring the works of Francie Lyshak, a painter, and David Colbert, a sculptor. Take this opportunity to meet the artists and view their work in an intimate gallery setting.

Dialogues: Exploring Light, Shapes, and Color in Paint and Form.

Francie Lyshak has exhibited in solo exhibitions at venues around New York including LaMama LaGalleria, and at Carter Burden Gallery in Chelsea, NY. She recently exhibited in several museum shows at the Phillips Museum of Franklin & Marshall College, the Butler Institute and Gadsen Cultural Arts Foundation.  She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions at venues including Lichtenfire, La Mama La Galleria, Denise Bibro Fine Art, A.I.R. Gallery, RC Fine Arts, Barbara Ann Levy Gallery, Sikkema Jenkins & Co., Carter Burden Gallery, and Stephen Harvey Fine Arts. She has shown work with curators and jurors including Alice Neel, Patterson Sims, and Paulina Pobocha.

David Colbert received a Master of Arts degree in architecture from Yale University in Connecticut. He founded an architecture firm before establishing his sculpture studio. David Colbert creates geometric sculptures. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in architectural studies from Middlebury College in Vermont.
