Trained at the China Academy of Art, Han Feng launched herself first as a fashion designer at New York Fashion Week in 1993 then as a costume designer in Anthony Minghella’s Madama Butterfly at the English National Opera in 2005.

When international travel proved impossible during the pandemic, Han Feng started to create journeys on an antique wooden Chinese table in her home in New York, with fruits and vegetables and objects new and old she has collected over the years from all around the world.
